Suggest Treatment For Vasccularity Of The Gland Increased

hi, my thyroid u/s shows that I have cysts with internal echogenic content on both lobes and vasccularity of the gland increased throughout. I have slight difficulty swallowing and voice changes and feel pain in that area. Thyroid is not enlarged. What should I do? Thank you

Hi,

Usually this can be seen in early stages of thyroiditis or in hyperthyroidism. I think you should have your thyroid function tests and thyroid antibodies done. If you have pain in neck analgesics and in severe cases steroids may help.
