Suggest Treatment For Umbilical Hernia

hello I am a type 2 diabetic I have a umbilical hernia and it ooses daily. I can not left or squat or bend with out it popping out and causes pain. I cannot enough to fill myself up because it pops out ,so my blood sugars are had to keep in a ggod place and my Doctor hasn't referred me to a surgeon should He?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Umbilical hernia needs to be operated by a Surgeon. Most umbilical hernias are painless and doesn't cause any discomfort.
Surgery is the treatment of choice as to make sure that it doesn't land up in complications. It is called 'umbilical hernia repair'. It can be done by laproscopic means.
Since you are known diabetic, you need to control your blood glucose levels and take Physician's fitness to get operated.
