Suggest Treatment For The Inflammation In Throat
Hi, I went to the doctors office the other day because i felt as if my throat was inflammed, they took a rapid strep test and it came back negative. They also took blood to see if it could possible be mono. A rapid mono test came back as negative. However I am waiting for more results to see if is developing. Today when i woke up my belly button was bothering me, and there was dried up crust around it. My belly button is VERY red! What could this be? Are they all connected or just a coincidence?

Hi i do care for your concern.
Your history suggest of a strep infection.
Your lab result was negative as it may be infected with other strains.
Your belly button infection also points towards strep infection.
So the strain that cause skin infection may also be present in throat.
If i were your treating doctor then i would suggest metro tablet for five days duration.
for time being do salt water gargling, this will add to the help.
