General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The feeling like your chest is inflamed could be due to gastritis or heartburn triggered by rituxan.

Take antacids. Avoid pickled/oily/spicy foods. Observe if other symptoms like swelling of hands/feet or any rash would appear. In case you note any of them, please contact immediately with your doctor. Or go to ER.

If no such signs, just continue taking antacids and be careful with foods you take in order not to aggravate your stomach. Report this side effect to your caring doctor. He/she will help you further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
