Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Blisters On Arms
My daughter 4 years old, caucasian, domicile country Hong Kong. Confirmed by Ped. of Foot and Mouth Disease. Child s condition : blister appeared on arms, palms and around mouth area, sore throat but still got appetite to eat. no high fever. Would like to take her on a trip to US this week. Questions : 1. How long will the virus be in my daughter until she can be declare fully recover? What is the sign of the full recovery? 2. Can I still travel with her to US? 3. Under what condition will her condition cause Meningitis Med given : anti-inflamation, paracetamol and Vit.B If I am to take her to US, do I need to get more perscriptions or any other med as precautions?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is really viral infection then it would take at least 7 to 8 days to come around and child would be playful by the 10th day and this would be sign of total recovery, question of meningitis is just out of the question, in viral infection condition medicine has got very little role unless the symptoms are severe, if child is doing well then no need for any prescription, take care.
