Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain And Ingestion

Hello Iam in Rome, Italy for three weeks now. I have severe stomach pain which maybe due to indigestion or stomach infection because of local food products here or drinking water. I am from india and brought o2 medicine with me. should i take it. Can you please suggest me how to get rid of this problem. Are there any over the counter medicines available which i may take?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.

Stomach pain can be due to many reasons including the one you mentioned like intestinal infection as you are in a new territory and food or water can cause this.
Since you have not mentioned about the stools it is difficult to guess the cause.
You can certainly take O2 Tablets as it is a combination of Oflaxacin and Ornidazole which acts on intestinal infection.
For severe pain in abdomen you can take an anti-spasmodic from local Pharmacy and see for the effects.
Also take Probiotics and a PPI like Omeprazole.
Take plenty of oral fluids if there is no nausea or vomiting.
Take Domperidone if there is nausea or vomiting.
Try to consult a Local Doctor as the medical facilities are available there and take a prescription based medications as advise by the Doctors. This helps to get a clinical evaluation and examination.
