I am a 44 year old woman who is having issues with recurring ovarian cysts. I had the first one removed in 11/2010. It was 8cm. Since the surgery, I have been experiencing excruciating pain, in which I later found out was due to ovulating and cysts forming. I was given a Depo Provera injection and was told the cause of all this is an imbalance in my hormones. I'd like to know, what type of cysts I have and what other treatments are available?
