Suggest Treatment For Rashes In The Groin Area After A Chemotherapy

Hi my mother has got rashes on her vagina, Anal & on her pelvic region due to radiation & she had taken her 4th cycle of chemotherapy. Please give some advise how i can reduce her pain. As doctors are telling that it will be there for 2months. What home remedies we can give.

Hi,

It may be radiodermatitis caused by radiotherapy. Consult the expert dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply mild steroid cream combined with antibiotic cream on the affected areas. A short course of steroid tablets in tapering dose would be given. A pain killer like Brufen may be given to relieve from pain.
