Ok, I burnt my thumb the other day with extremely hot olive oil, the burn is about a half inch oval. But now, since its healing, I have a bumpy itchy rash appearing next to the burn on the non-burnt skin. Why is this and what can I do? I wash the burn, I have had neosporin on it a few times, and let it dry in between putting the neosporin on. The burn seems to be healing fine, just the rash is irritating and scaring me.please help.
