Suggest Treatment For Pseudopolyps

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 10 years ago so since then I am taking medicine. Few days ago I didn't feel well so I ask for a colonoscopy and the result was: sigmoid colon with scars and 10 pseudopolyps (UC inactive); rectum with UC active. The doctor told me to increase the medicine for 2 weeks. My question is: is this the right way? and should I worry about the pseudopolyps?
