Suggest Treatment For Patchy Goose Bumps In Arm

All I am experiencing is patchy, isolated goosebumps on my right arm. There s no real tingling in my fingers or anything and I feel fine, but these goosebumps look weird, and are rising just on my right forearm, on top. It s been happening off and on for 24 hours. Any ideas?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for patchy goose bumps in arm. As you have given a history of these patchy goose bumps in arm for just 24 hours so it is too early to give a proper diagnosis of the condition. Most often these bumps are seen due to pressure or any physical agent causing bit irritation and then release of chemical inside the specific cells called as mast cells. There it produces a rash which you have mentioned. I reassure you that it will be alright in couple of days.
For the time being period you can apply a calamine lotion and take an antihistamine such as cetrizine or pheniramine or Benadryl for two times.
Take care.
