I was looking for some advise. I had a fracture in my right fibula in sept of 2007 and was put in a cast for 8 weeks. upon cast removal there was no healing and I was refered to a specialist he placed my foot in a special boot for 6 weeks. It is now 3 years later and over the last 4 months i have been getting a lot of pain in my left ankle and left side of hip. An x-ray was done last friday and there is a cyst in my left foot below my left ankle. Could this as well as the pain in the left hip be related to the improper healing of the right ankle injury. the right fibula?
