General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

All your symptoms show that you suffer from bacterial parotitis. It is caused by some different factors and to find them you need some tests to determine the diagnosis.
In these cases parotid gland ultrasound is necessary.
An ear examination(otoscopy) is also recommended to rule out outer ear canal infection.

The results of these tests will help your doctor in determining the treatment.

Consult your otorhinolaryngologist.

I hope I answered your query.

Take Care.
Dr. Behar.
