Hi.. Welcome to HCM
Neuropathy is a well known complication of diabetes. It usually take at least 10 years to develop Neuropathy after diabetes. My advice to you is-
1.fisrt confirm the Neuropathy at which stage and upto what level by doing NCV studies - ask your Neurologist.
2 . strict control of diabetes will prevent the progression of diabetes. Every 3 monthly measure FBS, PP2BS and HBA1c report. And get it checked by your doctor.
3.Some medications are approved and available for Neuropathy, like tab. Gabapentine, tab. Pregabalin, tab. Duloxetine etc. Which are effective and less harmful.. BUT PHYSICIAN'S PRESCRIPTION IS MUST FOR THAT TAB.
If anything u still feel unsatisfied u can always ask.
Have a nice day..
