Suggest Treatment For Laryngitis And Clogged Ear

After coming off a flight I came down with some sort of flu. I eventually got laryngitis, and I had conjunctivtis, and my left ear is clogged. I was placed on methylpredisone ( a steroid), and azithmycin (antibiotic). My ear is still clogged, and I still have laryngitis. What can be done? Is this a viral infection?

Hi welcome to health care magic....

Yes mostly according to the history you are having viral laryngitis....

For that indirect laryngoscopy examination done to assess severity....

You are given short term steroid and antibiotic course...

So complete the course of given drugs...
With steroid your inflammation will subside....

Steam inhalation done three times a day..

Salt water gargles done...

Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily for few days....

Drink more water...

Avoid smoking....

Take care

Advise :Otorhinolaryngologist consultation for examination and further work up....
