Iam a 23 years old bodybuilder who trains intensively,, Thanks god I have no medical conditions or health problems at atll but I have a problem which is insomnia I hardly ever fall asleep at night and therefore I feel that Iam not taking enough rest for my recovery process from my muscles training so what can i do??
Here are some suggestions to improve your sleep: 1. Donot do vigorous exercises in evening. 2. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing and meditation. 3. Avoid tea coffee alcohol and chocolates at bedtime. 4. Take a warm water bath before goin to bed. 5. Have a good daylight exposure. This will normalise your sleep-rhythm.
