Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism During Pregnancy
Doctor, Sir we are living in UAE. My wife is 5 week pregnant now, she is a hypothyroid patient and taking 100mg tyronom daily. last test for TSH and T3. T4 was normal that was on Mar.2014. after that we didnt take blood test. I am awaiting for my renewed insurance card for taking further tests until then she can continue the same dossage?

Usually thyroid test should be done every 3 monthly and medication are given accordingly.
You should continue with the same medication till the time you should go for your thyroid test.
Usually requirement of thyroid increases during pregnancy.
