Suggest Treatment For Hyperthyroidism

my sis-in-law was dx w/ hyperthyroidism and presently having frequently episodes of HTN. What can you suggest for medications to control her HTN? She is now on carvidolol, lisinopril and clonidine for SBP above 160. I d appreciate any feed back you can give us, Thank you.

Welcome to health Magic. Your sister in law may have HTN as a secondary manifestation of her hyperthyroidism, depending on her age and fertility/pregnancy status, she should be started on Methimazole at a low dose and up titrated to effective dose.
