Suggest Treatment For High BP And Fever

Significant other (65 yr old white male) visiting. General malaise day before Christmas, spiking blood pressure, flushing and spiking fever Christmas Day. Today, last night, sharp soreness pain on outside of elbow and scalp(?) sensitive to touch. Aspirin (2 325mg) seems to provide relief. Issue of how many to take, not exceeding 4 doses per day.

Hello,

I think we should not ignore such spikes in your blood pressure (bp) and fever.

It could be an initial viral infection that might have been complicated with fever and high bp.

I think aspirin alone won't be of that help. Yes, should not exceed 4 doses. But, to me, you should see your caring doctor. If can't then go to ER for immediate examination and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
