Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain Herpes 1 is a viral infection caused by
Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and it presents as clusters of
fluid filled blisters inside and outside the mouth/lips..
As it is a recurring infection and although can resolve within 2 weeks of eruption of the sores but can recur and even can persist due to repeated infections..
Therefore, inorder to reduce the frequency and duration of the infection you need to take a long course of
antiviral medications, both oral as well as topical..
But my suggestion is to get a confirmation done for whether you are suffering from herpes or not and for this purpose you should get tests done like Viral culture, antigen antibody reaction etc.
Once it is confirmed you should start taking
Acyclovir that is an effective and appropriate antiviral medicine for preventing the recurring eruptions of the herpes infection..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
