Hello and welcome to HCM, Hypothyroidism is characterized by symptoms of weight gain, hair fall, decreased appetite, dryness of skin etc. Your history suggests that you have been suffering from hypothyroidism and thyroxine is given to you to treat hypothyroidism. Recurrence of hair fall can be due to recurrence of hypothyroidism or it could be due to cause unrelated to hypothyroidism. Low calcium level need to be co-related with other parameters like serum protein / albumin level. Calcium levels are low when serum protein / albumin is low. Thus, you need to get calcium levels reviewed but low calcium level is unlikely to be associated with hypothyroidism.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
