Suggest Treatment For Flu Like Symptoms
Hi there, I developed flu like symptoms suddenly yesterday, didn't really sleep a wink, waking up over 10 times in the night, I feel very bunged up, have a very painful sore throat and headache which unfortunately wont go away with paracetamol/ibuprofen. I also am getting shivers going from very hot to very cold, normally all of this would be fine but my heart rate has been up above 110 from about 1 o clock last night to now (1436 the next day), and the tacchycardia is the only thing that concerns me. Is rest/hydration sufficient?

It seems that you might be having acute upper respiratory tract infection.
This can give rise to body-ache, malaise, severing and raised pulse rates.
Take plenty of water and electrolytes.
Take complete rest.
One cource of antibiotic will give relief from infection.
Take light diet.
