Suggest Treatment For Firbromyalgia

I m female,51, 5 7 148lbs. I am fairly healthy. in feburary 2011 my hands and feet started tingling. My Dr. has done blood work, MRI of brain and neck. Thyroid and sugar levels are fine, Vitamin D level low, I am taking Vitamin D 50,000 once a week for 8 weeks so far no change. I started taking supplements , B12 has helped some along with Alpfa lipoic acid. Changed my diet and exercise. I refused to believe I have fibro, My Dr presrcibed Xanax to help with anxiety caused. It helps calm my tingling down at the end of the day when it seems to be it s worse. My hands are always cold, I can t hold cold drinks in my left hand. I take 100mg celebrex for mild carpal tunnel. I do have two bulging disc but neurologist says it would not effect my feet, Im thinking about starting Barley green. Any advice you can give me would be great. Thanks I have seen a neurologist. he says firbromalgia.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Considering normal thyroid and sugar levels, some vitamin D deficiency, that has been possibly corrected with supplements and mild disc bulges with apparently no significant nerve compression, the symptoms seem to be arising out of anxiety. Please do regular physical workout, take proper sleep and follow healthy meal schedule.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhishek Juneja, Neurologist
