Suggest Treatment For Fade/croaky Voice

I keep finding that my voice is failing on me when I am speaking. I can be talking fine, then it will just fade or get croaky. I don’t have a sore throat but it sounds as if I have laryngitis. My throat will clear after a lot of coughing and occasionally I cough up thick mucus. Why is this?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi , Your clinical history is suggestive Chronic laryngitis.
Start Steam Inhalation , Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids ,antacid , Antibiotic azithromycin , Vit C .
Investigation needed Video laryngoscopy.

Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope above information helpful to you.
Regards - Dr KK ( Karade )
