Hi there, I have been diagnosed with extreme hypothyroidism last year. Finally my levels are down to TSH 6.8 However, my hematocrit is 46.7 Monocyt 1.0 Creatnine serum 1.19 Low carbon dioxide Tryglycerides 662...yes, 662 Low vitamin D My doctor is clueless and I am stressed out wondering what this could all possibly mean and what measures should I take to address my problem. Thank you very much for your help!
Hello, I have gone carefully through your concern. You should raise the levothyroxine dose and start treatment for high triglycerides. They are affected by the diet, so a diet rich in carbohydrates and fats increases the triglyceride and Diabetes should also excluded. Vit D deficiency should be corrected by taking supplements.
