Suggest Treatment For Elevated Thyroid Function

I have a slightly elevated thyroid function. I have been experiencing a painful knee. I am very athletic but bicycling has been difficult bc of the knee pain. I have scheduled an otho appt but am now wondering if I am wasting my time. My thyroid retesting is scheduled for November. I am menopausal, as well, and have been for about a year.
