Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Rabies is 100% fatal but it is 100% preventable by proper and adequate treatment.

As you were accidentally bit by the puppy which led to bleeding from the site of the bite, according to WHO categorization of animal bite it is categorized into Cat III.

I would suggest you to follow
1. Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water, which is an initial step in the management of the dog bite.
2.Active immunization with anti rabies vaccine days 0,3,7,14 and 28.
3.Passive immunization with rabies immunoglobulin in and around the wound.
4. Inj TT
Thank you.
