Hi, I have been having very bad diarrhea and feeling cold sweats around my abdomen and facial area. Every time I eat my stomach cannot hold it down and it comes most of the time partially digested. I have grown a red rash it feels like a ring around my rectum that bleeds when I wipe small splotches from constant bathroom use. I am out of the country in Canada to be exact what could I do to help the pain, it hurts to walk and move, and also what kind of treatment should I go about?
Possible heavy intestine infection through some sort of parasite or virus.
Primary guidelines till you consult your general surgeon for this issue
- local care of the anal area with antiseptic cleaning and application of Polymycin cream to prevent secondary infection
- sitz bath regularly
- high liquids intake to maintain hydration
- prescription of GI-specific antibiotics as rifaximin or else with probiotics containing sachromyosis bullardiasis and so forth.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
