Suggest Treatment For Diabetes When On Dialysis Treatment

My father is on dialysis for last 6 month. He is also a diabetic patient. From the starting of his dialysis, he used to womate just after the dialysis started. The dialysis technicians used to give him 1-2 dextrose to make him normal. But after the vomatting, his pressure used to grow high. We used to give him some sweet dish on the day of dialysis so that during the dialysis his blood sugar does not fall down. It it did not worked. Recently we are giving him fresh sugarcane juice from the early night before the dialysis day (one glass at the night before dialysis, one glass at the morning of dialysis and one glass 1 hour before dialysis). Now a days his blood sugar is not falling down during dialysis.

Hello,
It is possible to have low blood sugar levels in patients suffering from diabetic nephropathy, however high sugar levels in cases of CKD ( chronic kidney disease ) are treated by injectable insulin only.
The dose of insulin is calculated on the basis of blood sugar levels.
consult your diabetologist and nephrologist for the calculation of dose of injectable insulin.
Thanks
