Suggest Treatment For Cough And Nasal Congestion
Hi, I have had a persisting cough for over two weeks and persisting nasal congestion (one side only) with plugged ear. The cough is pretty bad and often produced a yellow stuff (mucus). I have been taking a lot of liquid, home medicine, and about 2000 mg of vit C. But the problem persist. Shall I make an appointment to see a doctor? Thanks.

If you were my patient I would treat you for sinusitis.
I would give a course of antibiotic,levocetrizine with ambroxol/mucolytic and nasal decongestant drops,steam inhalation for 5-10 days.
Since these medicines can be given only on a doctors prescription I suggest you to cosult ENT specialist for right diagnosis and treatment.
