Suggest Treatment For Chronic Diarrhea
I have had chronic diarrhea for a couple of years now. I have a long family history of cancer of both sides of family. Younger sister and brother , my Dad, now my Mom has breast, lymph node and a huge tumor on the back of her knee doing chemo and radiation. I have no insurance so I can't afford a physician. Suggestion? (I also have an avoidant personality) Thanks, Brenda Sorry, I am now unemployed so I can't afford your opinion but highly respect your profession. I worked Mental Health for 35 years, so I do understand needing payment.

Dear many causes for chronic diarrhoea. But how frequently your passing stools??what is the colour of stools?Is there any blood or mucous in stool?
Common causes for chronic diarrhea is 1.irritable Bowel syndrome 2.Inflammatory Bowel disease 3.malobsorption syndrome 4.celiac disease 5.Tropical sprue etc..
Dear you need to be evaluated to confirm the cause for your problem. avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking. Eat soft diet with probiotics. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
