Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

Hi, I had bronchitis a few weeks ago and was coughing pretty bad. My chest started hurting and I was able to alleviate the symptons somewhat with Ben Gay. The chest pain was most pronounced on my right side. My bronchitis has gotten better but not my chest, it still hurts. What should I do? I am 39, and weigh 110, and recently suffered a miscarriage

Hi welcome to HCM...

You have not mentioned whether you have taken any drug or not....
You have bronchitis ...It can be viral or bacterial cause....
CBC done ...If shows lymphocytosis then viral otherwise if neutrophilia then bacterial...

Take levoflox like antibiotic for 5 days...
Usually flu take sometime to recover fully...
Maintain healthy and balanced diet...
Steam inhalation useful....
If congestive symptoms still present then antihistaminic like benadryl can be taken ...

One tsp ginger juice with honey will be beneficial....

Consult pulmonologist for auscultation and respi examination...

Take care.
