Suggest Treatment For Blotchy Red Areas On Forehead Along With Peeling Skin
cyou heaed of side effects re the med STELARA ven on 12 06 2013 causing hair loss, and an unusual type `Rash` that looks painted on blotchy red areas on forehead along w peeling skin, and same rash on lips and a large area of same red rash type on area ocer top lip and under nose.last dose of stelara given on 12 06 2013? THE RED BLOTCHES ARE BURNING, stinging like pain. treatment for crohns; have had total of 4 injections. red blotch type rash stays the same; no change and duration now has been over 2 weeks, thak you Jeanne rowell age 72 yrs

As per your query you have symptoms of blotchy red areas on forehead along with peeling skin which is mainly due to medication reaction.Need not to worry. I would suggest you to:
- Apply cold compresses to the affected area
- Avoid sun exposure
- Avoid touching or picking burning sensation
- Drink plenty of water
- Take over the counter anti allergic drug like benadryl or zyrtec
- Apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 even if you are not under sun exposure.
If symptoms doesn't get better in 3-4 days consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe steroids.
