Suggest Treatment For Blocked Ear And Nose

Hi, My left ear and my left nostril are blocked. I went to an ENT and they told me that I needed a tube because I had fluid in my ear. When the doctor cut my ear drum there was nothing behind it and told me that maybe I have a genetic hearing loss. (Which I seriously doubt because it came on with a cold). I have a ringing in my ear and all sounds are muffled. What can I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You have to confirm what type of hearing loss you have. Get it done tennis test and Weber's test to know the type of hearing loss you have. Use tympanogram and pure tone audiometry to know the problem. Please consult with your ENT specialist / neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
