Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking LoEstrin 24 Fe for over a year. Once I started taking the pill, I started to bleed during intercourse. At first, it was not mild, however that was roughly 7 months after I started taking the pill. A few months after that I had mild spotting. I stopped having sex for a few months and then started again and I bled like the first time; we barely even had sex, it was only for about a minute. I have had an annual and a pap smear a few months ago. I was also tested and everything came back clear/negative. Could the bleeding be from the birth control?
Bleeding after sex might be there so nothing to more worry about it. Different possibilities are there like amount of pre cum from vagina is less and due to that penis cant enter in vagina easily and due to that it might possible that you had bleeding issue. Or internal injury during intercourse and many more as you said you are taking pills.
If you feel that its because of low pre cum in vagina than You may use lubricant if it happens each time you had sex so that penis could enter easily. Or you should use different positions in which penis enters easily.
But i would suggest to go for foreplay and Oral sex first before you go for intercourse because it will help for pre cum and also you and your partner will have more pleasure than normal intercourse.
Still you are facing the same issue than i would like to suggest to concern a good doctor and check for issue they will suggest you better.
Hope you will find it helpful.
Thanks & Regards, Dr. Gaurav Prajapati
