hello doctor' i have been suffering fro bi-polar mood disorders for a long time, i am taking 3 mg of alpozolam daily, but what i need is a hyper active drug as you know these all are depressents .i do hope you will help me , I am 47 years old and living in INDIA Regards joseph

I think, in bipolar disorder, you need mood stabilizer or low dose antipsychotic and that would help you a lot. If you take any stimulant, that could aggravate your symptoms. You can discuss this with your psychiatrist. Alprazolam would make you dependent upon it, so better to leave it as soon as possible. in case, you need further help, you can ask.
