Suggest Treatment For Anxiety

Hi, I had a protected sex with sex worker. I badly regret what I have done! I had Elisa I & II tested at 11.5 weeks (/81 days) and result came out to be non-reactive. I keep thinking of it very time and cannot do my day work and I feel it am getting thinner. Should I be worried? And my parents have started looking for a bride... Thanks,

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I understand that you are very anxious and worried whether you have contracted HIV infection. From the information that you have provided, it is very unlikely that you have contracted HIV infection. This is because you have had protected sex and moreover the HIV ELISA test were also negative. So, you needn't get so much anxious and worried.

The reduction in weight that you have noticed is definitely not related to HIV. It is possible that because of your excessive anxiety, you are not eating properly and this may be resulting in your weight loss. I would advise you to practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, yoga, meditation, etc. to reduce your anxiety and try to keep yourself active and engaged in order to avoid any repeated negative thoughts.
