Hello my name is Lisa and I am getting ready to turn 50. I started peri-menopause when I was 44 well signs of it you know the usually heart racing, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, and started gaining weight and felt myself changing into someone I don t even recognize. My Doctor doesn t believe in hormones flat out said you will get breast cancer and I really am starting to struggle mentally.........How long will this last and what can I do as my fibromyalgia is getting worse but honestly the doctors here in Topeka Kansas are not worth their signature on the wall well at least some not all.....Sorry just really need some solutions
Hello Donot worry about the breast cancer. In some females, perimenopausal symptoms can extend for a longer term. For fibromyalgia, drugs like cymbalta or venlafaxine will help.
Thanks.
