Suggest Treatment For A Complication In The Aorta

Sister in law went in for heart catherization today. Doctor said 90% blockage in main artery - husband tells us that Dr. said they were unable to get to it (put a stent in). She is in Cardiac Intensive Care. I am assuming this is the Aorta- Dr. said they may have to replace a valve?? Can they bypass the Aorta??

hello,
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
As such i need actual Cath reprot to guide you properly, but i can assume that she has Block in left main coronary or LAD and the block is not suitable for stent placement.hence she may need a bypass surgery. She may have additional valve problem which may need replacement. In need actual report to guide you further
My best wishes

Cardiac Surgeon Dr. Azam Jan's  Response
I think they are talking about coronary arteries blockage. And that they cannot put a stent in it.It means this patient needs open heart bypass surgery.
