Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cancer

Hello and Thank You for Your Time & Attention! A Little over a year ago I had Ovarian Cancer (The Tumors size 16x20 cm & My Symptoms sent me to my Family Dr. which immediately sent me for cat scan and by the next day she had me into U.T. w/their Top Oncologist. Two day's later I was on the Table and came out with Total Hysterectomy & 9 Lymph Nodes Removed. Shocking that it was Located ONLY on One Ovary and was the Slow Growing kind And HAD NOT SPREAD At ALL!! Too be Safe My Oncologist Removed Absolutely Everything, I Agree. He had Already Braced me at my 1st visit TO BE PREPARED For Massive Spreading (Freckling) He called it and to Be Prepared to wake up WITH A PORT! My Angel was Surely with me because IT DID Turn Out to be JUST THE OPPOSITE of ALL that I was Mentally Preped for. And my CA-125 Every 3 months w/Pap Test has blown EVERYONE Away with the Phenominal Blood Test. And they Started Declining Immediately--His goal was 22 and I am Now down to 8! While I was in Surgery He went over me with a fine tooth comb and of course that means Hand Checking my Colon FROM END to END. In Fact That is the only PROBLEM I have had. After my Recovery I expressed my severe Constipation and my Now New Colon Specialist Scheduled and Performed a Colonoscopy and Removed 2 polips and That was ALL that He Found! Since then (which was Several Months ago). My #2 has CONTINUED to Worsen, and He is Inclined to Think that I may have a kink or Twirl/?? Which is Having an Issue in Finding its Way Back to Laying comfortably and that He wanted to run tests to check IF that IS MY Up and Down Dissruption, cause He TOO HAS been from end to end & found nothing but the 2 Polips which of course was removed. Question: If a Small Portion is causing the Issue and Manuevering its little Yoga Positions w/an Attitude, HOW WILL THE DR. GO IN---AND---WHERE---and Just a Brief Run Down in General in Walking me through the Procedure PLEASE!? My Last App when this was discussed ( HIS OFFICE was Getting Slammed) & Basically I was just told to expect a call within a week or two for Scan n schedule date to REMOVE the Area causing me a Problem and that it would be a simple procedure! PROBLEM: He didn't have the time to Explain ALL THAT I HAVE ASKED OF YOU & I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE A SIMPLE BREAKDOWN of the Procedure!? AND ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS /THANK YOU & I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING BACK FROM YOU--Even if Your Answer Discribes 2 sticks of dynamite up the Ole shaft and RUN!!! Haaa... THANKS AGAIN/ Sincerely GOT A KINK in Tennessee

HI

Ovarian cancer can be treated by Chemotherapy. You may need chemo to get rid of any cancer cells that are still in your body after surgery. You usually receive these powerful medications through an IV. But sometimes they work better for ovarian cancer if they’re injected into your abdomen. This lets the medicine come into direct contact with the part of your body where the cancer was and is most likely to spread.
