Suggest Treatment For Inomnia

Insomnia
Hi I am struggling the sleep during the week. I get up at 5am every
Morning for work but only get 4 hours or no sleep
At all. I feel like a zombie at work and when I get no sleep
At all it can cause panic attacks and light headiness.
When I go to bed I start worrying about how many hours
Sleep I will get which then causes me not to sleep. Please help because
I've heard you can die from this. Thanks Hannah

Hello Hannah
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
You are suffering from insomnia.
I have some suggestions for you:
1. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation, yoga etc.
2. Dont smoke or drink alcohol, if you do.
3. Work according to a daily schedule.
4. Avoid day-time nap.
5. Dont take tea coffee and chocolates at bedtime.
5. If you cant get sleep within 20minutes of lying onto bed, leave your bed and take a light walk in your balcony.
6. Take a warm water bath before goin to bed.
7. Avoid heavy and fatty meals in dinner.

If this doesnt work, sleep inducing can be used but under supervision of a doctor.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
