Suggest Treatment For 22 Weeks Pregnant With Severe Back And Chronic Pain
I am 22 weeks pregnant with severe back and chronic pain. but i cant seem to get my obgyn to give me a non- narcotic for my pain relief to be able to function on a day to day basis. I have been on narcotics before pregnant but have stopped since becoming pregnant. Im tired of being in pain and no one seems to care! I will miscarry from pain and stress before miscarrying from some pain reliever! Help!
Dear madam,I understand your concern.first of all relax and dont strain yourself.in my opinion such severe and chronic pain might be due to many causes like any orthopaedic cause relating to spine ,muscular origin or sometimes in urine tract infection and sometimes unknown cause.so consult your gynae and also orthopedician to rule out the cause and take apt treatment rather than just taking pain killers.so dont worry once the cause is treated pain will decrease.if there is unknown cause like sometimes in pregnancy due to alteration in lumbar spine there will be back ache and that will go after delivery spontaneously.dont depend on any type of pain killers as they harm the fetus.and only paracetamol is safe in pregnancy.dont worry many people experience this kind of symptoms which will be releived after delivery.
