Suggest Treatment And Diet For High TSH Level

hi..this is vineela..female 22..married...recently i got to know that i am suffering from TSH and level is 9..

Can you please suggest the best food intake and food to avoid..

If I continue with the medicines with proper diet how long would it take to control?

Brief answer: Thyroid hormone replacement therapy, provided with decreased FT3,FT4 or clinical symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Detailed answer:If i were your physician,would ask for few more information like clinical symptoms,FT3,FT4 levels to give a better opinion.At present,in my opinion,low dose thyroid medication and a follow up with thyroid profile report after 4 weeks might be needed to consider further treatment.I advise you to discuss this with an endocrinologist who is expertise with.I would also suggest to avoid high calorie foods(processed,fatty foods),limit dietary fiber,caffeine which may decrease the efficacy of thyroid hormone supplement.Hope this information helps you.If any further questions,happy to answer you.
