Hello Dear Shrilekha. Do not worry. Stress will be common to all people in this world. Every problem has a solution. Nothing is permanent. Not even problems. They will come and go. So is your stress. You will become stress free if you follow some simple rules in life.

You may be suffering from anxiety and depression.

You need both medications as well as counselling. Your treatment plan for depression will depend on the type you have and how severe it is. Some people get psychotherapy. Others also take antidepressants or get other treatments. Exercise can also be part of the plan.

Some of the medicines which doctor may give you are

1. SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors)
i. Citalopram (Celexa)
ii. Escitalopram (Lexapro)
iii. Fluoxetine (Prozac)
iv. Fluvoxamine (Luvox)
v. Paroxetine (Paxil)

i. Duloxetine (Cymbalta)
ii. Venlafaxine (Effexor)
iii. Desvenlafaxine (Pristiq)
iv. Levomilnacipran (Fetzima)

Some of the tips to follow-
