Suggest Remedy To Remove Breast Cysts

I have a 12 year old daughter, weight 50 kg. She had an breast ultrasound. bilateral prominent ductal ectasia is noted with some cyst formation. The largest of the cysts is 18.7 x 10.9mm. A second cyst noted in the left breast appears to have some subtle internal echoes (complicated). both these cysts appears to have thick walls but have no increased vascularity. Follow up or surgical opinion needed. I will appreciate your comments Thanks

hi.

noted history and breast ultrasound of your daughter. do you have a family history of breast cancer? and what is her BIRADS categorization on the official results? benign breast lesions, such as fibrocystic changes (same case as your daughter) are usually monitored depending on the categorization/characterization in her breast ultrasound. these lesions are usually accompanied by breast tenderness/discomfort when there are hormonal changes in her body, usually before and during menstruation. re the 1st cyst you mentioned, it could be monitored annually, as the current size and character of the lesion doesn't warrant excision or removal. re her 2nd lesion, i was asking earlier about its categorization, because some complicated lesions needs to be biopsied. it is best if you bring her to a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
