Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Lower part of abdomen is supplied by thoracic eleventh and twelfth vertebrae while the flank region is supplied by first lumbar vertebrae. This type of altered sensation is called as paresthesia. The most common cause for it is nerve root compression. Since the duration of symptoms is only 3 days, nothing needs to be done at present. You need to prevent stooping and lifting heavy weights, in case the symptoms persists we need to get a X-ray done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
