I have hypothyroidism, when I get a bit of flue my sinuses etc... will very quickly and easily heal but I always struggle with my troat, coughing and tasting blood. I only started coughing a few hours ago and can t think that it was severe enough to create rawness. Could this have anythign to do with my thyroid?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a sore throat. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest to gargle with salty water and use a throat spray for local application. I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
Hope my answer was helpful.
