Suggest Remedy For Severe Cold And Low Bp In Pregnancy
My sister is in her 9th month of pregnancy. 2nd child. Has low BP 80/50 and sever cold. What ar the precautions to be taken? Also the baby has not taken its head down position yet and doctor is suggesting C-section. She is due on Oct 11th and her first kid was a normal delivery. please suggest

I had gone through your problem and can understand your concern for your sister. Your BP is very low and for that you need to take plenty of liquids, take sufficient rest and regularly check your BP.
For severe cold, i want to know whether it is associated with fever, cough or any other symptoms. You should do steam bath and avoid going in dusty environment. You need not to worry much about cold,if it is not associated with fever or cough.
As you are 9 months pregnant, still you can wait for few days to check whether baby's head has descended or not. If i were your treating doctor, i would have given trial for normal delivery and then go for C-section rather than directly going for C-section, because your 1st delivery was normal.
So my advise to you is that you can get 2nd opinion with another gynec and then act accordingly.
