Suggest Remedy For Patches & Itchy Tonsils

Over the last few weeks I've had pain off and on at the urethra opening. It started toward the end of a round of antibiotics for a sore throat which wound up leading to white patches on my tonsils. I tried Vagisil, and it helps, but I'm hoping to find a cure not a temporary fix to the mild burn/itching. There is no burn during urination, but I have noticed some white substance rather like tiny pieces of toilet paper around or near the urethra opening. What can I do to get rid of this?
