Suggest Remedy For Pain In Ears, Vomiting And Chills

My husband is working in the oilfields and cannot get in to see a doctor as he is required to stay on location. He has been having a sharp stabbing pain in his ear and in the last day or so he has started vomiting, he s had the chills and has not been feeling well at all. What can I suggest to him that might provide him with some relief until he can get in to see a doctor?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you r husband might be having infection of the ears.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Empirically he can take anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily until he needs the doctor.
Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
